Are you having trouble getting a deep breath? Or are you often exhausted? Here's a simple, free, and effective way to increase your energy and oxygen level. It can also instantly decrease feelings of stress. Plus, I've included a special prayer for everyone in need some TLC (tender loving care) for their lungs.
Breathe in. Exhale.
Breathe in through your nose. Exhale slowly through your mouth. This time when inhaling, breathe in slowly. Try to expand your lungs all the way, Hold it for 5 seconds and exhale slowly through your mouth. Repeat four times. This exercise is fantastic for increasing your oxygen level, decreasing stress, and increasing energy.
You breathe in 11,000 liters of air each day but if your air quality is poor due to air pollution or wildfire smoke, your lungs need a lot of special care!
And, if you are one of the approximately 37 million Americans with lung disease this transfer of oxygen becomes even more difficult, resulting in additional health issues. Your lungs are fragile. Please take care of them and they'll take care of you.
Then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being--Genesis 2:7
A Special Prayer For Your Lungs
Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord and God, I come to You on behalf of those with lung health issues. When You created the first man, You breathed the breath of Your Spirit into him. You made lungs to breathe in air and to deliver oxygen to the blood and vital organs. I ask You to please send Your Spirit to breathe life and healing into the lungs of everyone reading this. Come from the four winds, O Breath, and breathe on these, that they might live with good health and bring glory to You all of their days, in the Name of Jesus, amen.
Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God, 'Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life' ” -- Ezekiel 37:9
Wishing you the best of health,
Pamela
